What's the best way to contribute?
There are several different ways individuals can be involved with the 2008 Michiana
Dance Marathon:
Become a Dancer:
To participate at the marathon as a “dancer,” individuals must raise a minimum of
$250 (along with a $15 registration fee).
- Check out our tips [link] on how to prepare for the marathon, what to bring – and
what not to bring.
- Check out our Fundraising page [link] for tips on how to raise your financial goal
for the marathon.
Registration is easy. You can register online or contact
the DFH directly.
Become a Dancer Group Representative:
The Dancer Group Representatives are some of the most important people involved
with the DFH. They are the leaders – some might say the cheerleaders. It is their
actions that help ensure the event runs smoothly. Each organization that signs up
a group of 10 or more dancers will have at least one DGR who will serve as a liaison
between the Dancer Relations committee and the dancers on their team. DGR responsibilities
include:
- Instill a lively and fun spirit amid their team
- Facilitate their team’s registration
- Manage the team’s fundraising efforts, collection and delivery
- Plan an organizational fundraiser to assist their team’s efforts
- Raise a minimum of $250 (with a $15 registration fee)
- Attending bi-weekly meetings in the spring
- Various duties before and during the 24-hour marathon

Miracle Teams come for a three hour time span. It's a great way for a group of friends, coworkers, families to come out, participate, have fun, and support a great cause! Cost per Miracle Team is $50
